Meet your hosts:

Rachel Jones, PMHNP-BC

Rachel started her career as an inpatient psychiatric nurse in 2015, and became a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) in 2020. Her experiences working in acute, residential, and correctional treatment settings sparked her passion for humanizing and de-stigmatizing psychiatric care.

As a former undergraduate clinical instructor, she recognized the importance of recruiting more passionate and motivated nurses to the field of psychiatry by supporting students with a genuine interest in the field. She is a private practice owner in Wisconsin, providing integrative psychiatric care with a focus on caring for caregivers, and works part time in an outpatient pediatric psychiatry clinic.

She lives in Milwaukee with her partner Dan, and her dog-ter, Nessie (a beagle-dachshund mix with anxious-avoidant attachment and one crooked front paw). She loves connecting with and learning from other nurses and nurse practitioners.

Lindsay Hill, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Lindsay Hill is a passionate and dedicated psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and proud owner of Klear Care, a mental health practice that provides personalized and preventive care to enhance emotional well-being.

Lindsay’s journey in healthcare began when she earned her Bachelor of Nursing from Cedarville University in Ohio. She took a position as a Community Health Nurse at Arizona State University Health Services and had the privilege of learning from experienced faculty while she was there.  Her interest in mental health nursing grew, as she saw ASU students getting better with the appropriate psychiatric support and treatment. She saw a path forward allowing her to help individuals with various mental health issues and support them through their healing journey.
